You could get RAM rated at the same speed for $10 less.

You can get the Capstone for a bit less than the CX550M, or the G3 for a bit more. Both would be better.

You could get a mechanical keyboard for around the same price. The Strafe is available for $20 more.

You should be able to get a 144Hz monitor for around the same price.

Team Group is very decent, don't know what he's talking about.

The G230 is $5 cheaper, and the only difference is the color, and a crappy USB sound card. Save the $5, unless you want the headset to be blue

Looks good, though you could get some cheaper ram.

ram brand is not recommended, check ur motherboard memory compatibiltiy list ( QVL ) to see which brands are properly supported and what type of sticks

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

What's wrong with team group.

nothing wrong with it but hes kit isnt supported by the mobo and the team kits are in general not that supported by it either hence why recommend a different brand

RAM brand doesn't matter, what die they use matter. And since all the brands use Hynix A or M die for pretty much all of their <3200MHz kits, brand doesn't matter. If the motherboard supports one 3000 MHz Hynix kit, they support any other 3000 MHz Hynix kit.

Feel free to elaborate

ram support is entirely on the motherboard manufacturers hands

https://www.pcgamesn.com/amd/amd-ryzen-memory-compatibility

amd is quite mad at manufacturers because of this

ryzens ram support is still quite a big issue and alot of boards can only run 2400mhz @ 4sticks and up to 2666 ( 3000-3200 if lucky ) on some boards

the board is b350 and not guaranteed to run 3000mhz sticks

unless confirmed in qvl list

Yes, memory speed also depends on the motherboard. However, in this instance, the motherboard is the B350 Strix, which is very decent, and the only variable was the RAM manufacturer. The actual die used in the RAM is the same. So they will perform the same.

Most B350 and X370 have received support for Agesa code 1006, greatly improving support for RAM. Hynix kits tend to be able to run at up to 3200MHz, and Samsung E and D die kits tend to be able to run at up to 2933 MHz, with 2 sticks.

the problem is, the kit is not in the qvl list, thus not 100% guaranteed to run

Exact kits don't matter, what matters is whether or not any kit that's on the list has the same die and speed.

exact kits do matter, u will figure that out once maybe when u actually have installed loads of rams in many systems :P ive come up where different type of kits just wouldnt even boot on particular boards, some wouldnt go in dual channel mode, and way more issues lol :P

And did you verify that they used the same dies? And whether they were dual rank or single rank?
