People really need to stop thinking that 'response time' is a measurement of input latency...

but how else will i be a CSGO pro without my 5ms response time and 23746324875693284756239746128371034856fps on a 60hz monitor?

Stop being ridiculous, "response time" or more commonly known GTG is simply how long it takes for the pixel to shift all the way from black to white, this is no input lag related by any means, literally any thing equal or better to 5ms is identical.

The only bad side effect of a bad GTG say 25ms is the CHANCE of having the "ghosting effect" on the screen which is very different from as already mention input lag.

Also I hate this thread's title being that I'm from the days any tube TV was a gaming TV and we were more than happy with it playing on PlayStation 1

oh i know, i was mocking the people that think that anything over 5ms is complete unusable. i've gone from a 5ms to a 27ms monitor (both at 60hz) and didn't even notice a difference.

Hehehe yeah it really isn't one, by the way having a higher fps than your monitor refresh rate can potentially help in fast paced games like CS:GO

For future references.
