i have some really noob questions to ask about fans so here i go

 

1. whats the diffrence between pwm and non pwm

2. whats the diffrence between a 3 pin fan and 4 pin fan

3. can i plug a 3 pin fan onto a 4 pin header on my mobo and still work and still be able to control

4. can i control speeds of any type of fan as long as its plugged in to me mobo

1. PWM (Pulse-width Modulation) means that it will be automatically controlled

2. The 4th Pin IIRC lets the motherboard control the fan.

3. Yes, to control the fan your motherboard needs to have that feature.

4. Again if your motherboard allows you to control the fans.
