8320 Max temp/Voltage.

Does any one know what the max temp and voltage of the 8320 is? I also hope to use this cooler Cooler master hyper tx3. If you guys can find anything better under twenty bucks tell me.

Max temp would be 100C and voltage would be about 1.35V is most recommended I think. Hyper 212 Evo, when it is on sale it is under 20 dollars.

Unfortunately its not. Only have a $600 budget and im still going over that by about $30. Now i meant absolute stable not when its going to shut off.

Could get a board that doesn't cost that much? Saves some money for the cooler.

Upgrade ability and ocing is why i went with the 990fx board. Other wise it would save me $20 to get a 970 board but looses crossfire support in the future.

Safe voltage is below 1.4v air and 1.55v under water. Keep real usage temp under 62c, 58c and below is ideal. Synthetics temperature should be no higher than ~70c.

That's tjmax, 100c would kill an 8320.

Teeeechnically you're $145 over budget of you ignore having to mail in the rebates AFTER you buy everything. You could just drop the cooler and use the stock one until you can get something like the EVO 212?

Just have it so that their is incidental airflow to the VRM from the CPU cooler.

Maximum temperature is disputed, but most commonly is regarded as 61-62c on the cores.

According to my personal experience that seems to be quite accurate since once you cross that threshold the temperatures continue to climb until they hit TJMax and the system shuts down.

my stock fx4100 goes to 1.404 ........... On turbo mode a bit higher . . .
