How about something like this?

Changed it to an 1600, the Strix B350-F and a Shadow Rock 2 air cooler instead of an liquid cooler.

Ja Hans, das ist sehr schön.

Looks good, the B350-F has better heatsinks and onboard features vs Prime B350 Plus.

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

The SL308 costs €5 less, and has pretty much the same performance as the 850 Evo. You can probably get a bag of chips and a soft drink for that price. I'd rather have that, than a slightly faster (not noticeably) faster SSD.

Don't get the CSM when you can get the awesome Vengeance PSU for less. It's bronze rated, but actually hits silver and gold level efficiency, in addition to having awesome electrical performance.

The Be Quiet Pure Base 600 is fairly quiet. Not sure how it compares to the Define R5, but they have tested the Define C, and the Pure Base 600.

Not a direct comparison, though. Costs €20-30 less as well.

Thanks a lot for the input.

We'll still be getting the samsung ssd, just because we know the brand and the SL308 is also not in stock on amazon.

We're considering the case and PSU though, thanks a lot for the suggestions! :D

Only input I have is make sure you go with an air cooler from noctuna, they make REALLY good air coolers, and a non custom water loop will perform about the same.

SK Hynix is the company that also made the die for the RAM kit you chose. They are a giant. The Amazon page says 17 are left? But it's a €5 difference, so it doesn't really matter too much.

No problem

We want to run the harddrives in raid1, if he needs more space we'll just get an additional harddrive.

Yes he wants to have a dvd drive for cds and so on.

Which motherboard would you recommend then, with an ryzen 5 1600 instead of an ryzen 7?

B350 X370 is for the hgher end ryzen 7 ( 1800x and 1700x ) ok I didn't realize you wanted to run raid sorry I didn't think of that.
