MicrosoftEdgeCP.EXE crashing

Koustav Guha

First of all, I don't use Edge, but from 16 Sept MicrosoftEdgeCP.EXE is crashing. I cant see any dialogue box, but I can see the crash report in Reliability Monitor. I don't know what is the problem. Does anyone know about this? Thanks in advance.

does it cause problem to your daily use? if no i would'nt worry much, just try to uninstall edge or something, the day you start fixing computer problems that don't affect you is the day you start slowly turning crazy

You can't uninstall Edge.

I would check if Edge isn't running in the background, MicrosoftEdge.exe is the main process. What happens if you kill the main process?

Also, have you tried a simple restart?
