The 270x and the 660 are pretty much the same if seen some benchmarks and the 270x had in some games higher fps.. I bought a 270x because it was cheaper! :P

270 non-x and x is the same so don´t care about buying the "x" version ;)

Anyway: The 270 would be best for 1080P as it is a plain better card. Nvidia doesn´t really have anything compelling in that price range...

Not really. The 270 is pretty much just a higher clocked 7870. The 270 also oc's quite a bit better than the 660 does.

For some perspective:

660< 7850 < 270

Here in Aus I can pick up a 660 for about 215 and a 270x for 249 at the Cheapest

Only 1 270 and that's 229- not really wanting to get that..

Get the non x 270, it wipes the floor with the 660 for that sorta price increase. The 7850 was already a better match to the 660 so to beef it up to 7870+ it's a no brainer

Get the one that is cheaper, I have a 660 and I'm satisfied, if Shadowplay and other NVIDIA features are relevant to you, surely pick up a 660.
