2 monitors broke simultaneously??

I purchased a asus radeon 6950 directCU 2 from a friend.My old card was GTX 260.When i installed the Asus in the first pci-e place.Computer doesn't recognize it at all and the Gpu fans goes beserk.Max rpm,slow rpm,max rpm.....If i use the lower slot,everything works like a charm.Other problem is the 2 monitors.

This happened yesterday,when i opened my computer,these vertical and horizontal white lines,are also present in the bios screen.This happened to the both monitors.What's the odds of that happening? This is a stupid question,but i'll ask anyway.Is it possible to GPU or Motherboard to somehow break the monitors? The vertical lines are also greenish brown on both monitors.Tried different GPU,other cables.The result is the same.

This is just me but I don't see any lines. It might also be the display connection on the card and not a broken monitor.

The edges of monitors have that white line.And also tested both monitors on a laptop with a different cable.Result is the same.Here's a another picture,it's upside down though.

Are you referring to the backlight bleed from the edges of the bezel?

yes,those lines appeared out of nowhere.
