So Ive been playing fine without any problems for a while now (WoW, Chivalry etc.), and then about 2-3 hours while in game I got a random Geforce Experience update pop up, the usual thing where it says click to install the latest version of geforce experience.  It wasnt a driver update, just a new geforce exp update, I think all it actually does is stuff that has to do with shadowplay.  Anyway I just installed it just because I liked to always have everything updated to avoid any problems.  I went afk for a while, came back and started to play more then got the following blue screen.

I restarted the computer thinking maybe it was just a coincidence, checked for new driver updates just to be sure.  Then hopped on Chivalry, while in game I played for about 10-15 seconds then the game froze up and it said my driver stopped working.  So I restarted once more and this time check boxed the "check for beta drivers" under the check for updates button.  It found a new beta driver from a few days ago (Nov 27th), installed that with a "clean installation", restarted again, ran chivalry again, played for about 10-15 seconds in the actual game before it froze and crashed.

i7 4770k

16gb corsair vengance

evga gtx 570 reference

win 7 home

driver version 331.93

Also to note, nothing is overclocked.

What do I do now?

hey guys, update from my phone for sad face reasons =(. while i was roaming the forums/google looking to see if anyone else had my problems. my screen just went black and the computer restarted itself, then got stuck when loading the desktop. i then turned off the pc, turned it back on, it loads the asus mobo start up screen, it starts to load windows but before it goes to desktop, it goes black. now every time i restart it takes me to the blue screen with the same bsod error code, it wont let me get back to the desktop. i started the computer in safe mode and i am at the desktop now just grabbing any important info ill need incase i am forced to reformat my ssd.

any suggestions? sorry for this looking like a 9yr wrote it but typing this on a phone is annoying enough in itself =(. would appareciate any and all help, thanks guys

edit: After restarting again while it was in safe mode, it actually booted back to desktop now though I got a feeling its only a matter of time until it goes black and/or BSODs again on me. Im manually downloading the latest stable version which came out on nov 19th i believe, Ill try installing that and see how it goes.

edit 2: back on phone, fml. i downloaded the latest stable nvidia driver, 331.8 something i think? manually uninstalled everything nvidia related through control panel, the geforce experience, the driver, hd audio, etc. then reinstalled the stable driver. ran chivalry, as soon as the game loaded the main menu, everything froze up, crashed, computer restarted. Ive only had my gtx 570 for a little over 2 years now, if the card was dying, wouldnt it just not work at all, rather then randomly giving me these esod and black screen crashes?

It was freezing / crashing when in-game, but it also would black screen / randomly BSOD while browsing firefox etc.  I am going to try putting the card in 1 of my other pcie slots and see if it still continues.  Right now I found my old 9600 gt and put that in, and it seems to be working honestly... it uses the same latest geforce driver the 331.82 apparently, so didnt need to update that.  And I just ran Chivalry and joined a game, had to turn the settings to everything as low as possible because it is such bad FPS, but it actually ran for 10-15mins without crashing.  So I am thinking it might have just been my card dying.  However I am going to test that by putting the card in the pcie slot under it and see if it still screws up, cause of friend of mine said it might just be a bad pcie, I have no idea =X.

Final Edit:

Alright guys so I pretty much narrowed it down to it just being my graphics card on its last days.  I put my old 9600 gt in and ran Chivalry without any crashes (though I had to dumb everything down to Nintendo quality).  After it ran for 10-15mins I deiced to try the other PCI slot on my mobo and put my GTX 570 in there, well it ran the game for a couple of mins without any problems, then as soon as I was about to spawn, it froze up and crashed again.  So I know its not my pcie slot, and if this old gt 9600 works for the rest of the night without any problems, then Ill know that the problem was the gtx 570 itself, which I am like 90% sure is going to be the case.  Just wanted to give an update in case anyone was wondering!
