Ok, I come across like the most stupid problem one might have when trying to get a graphics card (see sig). I have all the neccery funds to get one. except my DAD won't let me because He needs a reason why. he thinks that the Intel integrated graphics 4600 is good :( SO I need your help before the next HOUR to convince him to get one. I need a organized and UNDERSTANDABLE  argument! Thanks guys, this might be the weirdest thing I ask of you (hopefully)

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.

If he thinks that intel HD graphics are good enough then he will never understand. Plus if it's your money why do you need permission to spend it?

Say that you can't play games with intel HD graphics and that A graphics card looks cool in your system. Tell your dad that you can do your home work faster if you have a graphics card.

Huh...Didn't know that Intel interpreted graphics to the computer....I think you mean integrated. :P

 

is this a gaming rig only?

The graphics card does the bulk of computing. With one, renders can take minutes instead of hours.

 

Also, realistic games basically need a decent graphics card to make the game look as the developers want you to see it.

The integrated graphics is basically better than a GT 520 which plays LoL pretty well at low settings but if you are planning to play the latest titles like BF4, integrated graphics would not work.

why don't you just order it and then there will be f**k all he can do about it.
