Which AIO?

Guest

Since im gonna overclock my Xeon X5650 i need a AIO cooler for it because my air cooler isn't gonna cut it.

My budget isn't that big (70euro max)

120nm radiator max.

Any recommendations?

EDIT: Imma save you some research: The Xeon X5650 is a LGA1366 CPU

Under 70 euros you really only have option of like H55...EVGA 120, NZXT 120 and Corsairs other 120 options are all more expensive. If you want best thermals at that point buying something like Be Quiet! dark rock 3 with another fan may be better.

120nm isn't even large enough to cover 4 transistors on that chip.

I know it is small but my case doesn't have a 240nm spot

It is a a old case (orignally with a e8400) but i dont wanna buy a new case because in april/march im gonna build a new pc

but i need a AIO for now and my cpu is at 70c maxed

get a new air cooler, a 120mm AIO is a total waste unless you are really cramped for space

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

i used a deepcool 120mm, most deepcool aio support 1366 pins, i think so does the H series with corsair. if not grab a beefy second hand or new air cooler. i used to have the x5670 and used a thors hammer for about 8 months at 50c load.
