Hello Linus Tech Tips Community & how's everybody doing!

So, I have my DSLR camera and a Rode Stereo Mic. I lower the internal DSLR mic gain to between 35-50%, and then I set the Rode Stereo Mic to +20db. That gives me clean, clear, noise-free audio, excellent!

My question is, is there a reliable, noise-free Bluetooth/Wireless receiver, which will allow me to plug it into my DSLR, then use my Rode Stereo Mic far away for instance with a Bluetooth/Wireless sender?

I understand there are high quality solutions out there like the Sennheiser sets, but I'm not looking for a whole set, including mic, I'm just looking for the wireless capability.

Thanks in advance!

Country is USA, and budget does not matter, as long as product is high quality. Again, I'm just interested in sender/receiver, not an additional mic.

Thank you

As you're using it with a DSLR, I'm guessing you also need it to be portable/battery powered, and as such you need both a stereo transmitter and receiver in a body pack or camera mount style.

By using a stereo microphone this makes it much more expensive as there generally isn't any demand for a body-pack style stereo transmitter, so finding one at any price is already difficult. In fact, I'm unable to find any at all, let alone from a reputable brand. Your only option would be two buy two single channel kits and then split the output from the microphone and then combine the outputs from the receivers to go into the camera. Although this is a bodge and an overly expensive option.

If you were to use a mono microphone, then you would have a wealth of options to choose from, and save money.

You could also get a separate audio recorder (zoom H4...) and record the stereo mic into that, then align the two recordings in software.
