My Ryzen 1700 has visible circles in the corners. What are they?

So I cleaned off the thermal paste that comes with the CPU cooler with Isopropyl alcohol and before I put new paste on it, I noticed circles on three corners of my CPU. They're perfectly round. Almost like screw holes. I tried taking a picture but it wont show on camera. What are those?

Yes. I drew them in as a reference photo since the real ones don't show on camera. The CPU looks really clean on camera for some reason.

Ok, it may just be a mark from the heatsink or water block, so I doubt it will be a problem.

That is what he means, all ryzen CPUs have that

I see Gigabyte 4+3 and 1700

Seems like sorta fire hazard

probably the machine soldering uses suction cups to place the heatsink
