Brand-wise is fine. It's just that you shouldn't gotten one with a better cooler.

It'll run cool enough. The stock cooler isn't insufficient but just not nearly as good or quiet as aftermarket ones.

The brand's fine, you'll just have a Boeing 747 constantly taking off in your system.

Not even, I have a 6850 in mine, like this:

And it is quite right now, even when i push it, it's not even that loud, lower end cards don't tend to be that loud, only if you OC the balls out of it

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

I'm talking about the blower style fan.  It's smaller, so it has to spin at higher RPMs to move air through, hence the louder sounding noise.

An aftermarket card....

This is reference... 01.jpg

It's still reference design, and to be honest the reference card looks like it would do a better job at cooling...

Still aren't that bad, the cards aren't that hot in general

It will be somewhat loud, but that is due to the fan being smaller thus having to move faster to complete the cooling cycle....it may sound like a mini version of a weed eater, leaf blower, etc....the great thing is that if you ever get into water cooling, should not be to hard to find a block that fits....most will fit reference cards easily.  Play a few different games, use Afterburner or your favorite gpu control software to adjust the fans to your comfort level, cooling level for gpu, etc..and you will be ok.  Brand wise, not sure about Power Color..I know that their Devil branded cards do pretty well (7870,R9 270x)...good luck and happy gaming.....

Good God does everyone have to make the comment to it being a reference card? It's not the end of the world and it will run just as good as any other card using that chipset. Especially with good airflow and cooling.

All that matters bud is that the card works for you and performs the games you play to your needs. Obviously I wouldn't expect playing Metro: Last Light on max settings at 60FPS, but you should do just fine with most games.
