I believe the cooling performance of the nhd15 is on par with a 120mm aio, at the same noise level it may actually be even better.

The H110i and NH-D15 perform pretty similarly.

Was wondering if anyone knows the temperature difference is between the newest h110i from corsair and the NH D15 with x2 fans is. My h110i has been loud as fug and is starting to fail, rmaing it but wanted an air cooler to use during the rma process. If this performs around the same prob just not going to use the new h110i when it comes xDDDD

Never had any experience with the h110i, but I had a h55 with a push pull setup. It got to the point where the noise was too much. Got the NH-D15 and omg. Now the faint noise I hear now are my case fans.

Before the summer I took the plunge and replaced all my case fans with Noctua ones, and OMG I love Noctua and I'm replacing my H100i with a Noctua cooler. I'm never going back.

The temperature difference though, I'm not sure. It shouldn't be huge however you can run the Noctua fans harder with less sound than any other fan I know of, and the Noctua cooler is really efficient as well so.

Yeah I know they are much quieter, I didn't ask that. I'm only wondering what the performance difference is. The h55 is also a much older pump and a smaller rad so not really comparable xDD I have nfa14s as all my case fans now. Also planning on upgrading to an 8700k so I wanted to make sure it will be cool with an oc xDD

I haven't used them both on the same system, but I have a i7 4770k that when stressed at 4.2ghz 1.3v only hits around 65c on a nhd15

built an i7 7700k using the newer h110i and it was hotter and louder at 4.5 running stock voltage.
