Phanteks P400 RGB question

I ordered the Phanteks P400 almost solely for the built in rgb controller/rgb strip. Unfortunately, the theme I'm doing is all black and white components and the white feature on my case is more of an ice blue that really clashes with my white led fans.

Since I've already assembled the case and it's not defective, taking the 15% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping it back to Newegg and ordering a new case on top of that just isn't worth it, so I was thinking about getting a pack of Corsair sp120 RGB fans with their included fan controller https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835181117

My question is, if I were to unplug the light strip from my cases built in RGB controller, could I connect the Corsair SP120's  HUB to it and controller the RGB functions with the button on top of my case? I would really hate to have to open up my case to access the switch everytime I wanted to change colors.
