Hi

I want to purchase a pair of headphones mainly for college but also for casual listening. The surroundings may be quite loud in travelling scenarios so ANC may be something that I may need but I had a pair of gaming headphones with the feature before and I did not like the sound effects of it.

The headphones need:

Bluetooth (Not 100% essential but I will be biased as I tend to break wires overtime).

Fair amount of bass.

Decent battery life (I don't mind charging often).

Over ear (I find in ears hurt my ears while wearing for longer periods, on ears are a maybe)

Foldable (So they fit in my bag).

My budget is around £100 for the headphones.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Pro

My Setup :P

There isn't anything in a 100gbp budget that meets your criteria worth owning. The headphones you are describing tend to cost around 200-300gbp. In fact looking at the headphones that meet a 100gbp budget you will have to pick 1 or maybe 2 features.

The world of Bluetooth over ear headphones are currently very high priced. Can you go to amazon and buy some overear bluetooth headphones that are foldable? Sure you can, however there isn't a single one I would recommend due to poor build quality or poor sound quality and most likely both.

Ok thanks for the reply, I don't technically mind a wired headset but usually the wires break so a 3.5mm port on the headset would be better so i could replace the cable if necessary. I will take a look at some of your suggestions now.

The takstar don't appear to be available on amazon for me.  I had a look at the m40x and i like the look of them. They seem comfortable, have a replaceable cable, fold up and include a carrying bag. Do you know what the audio are like on them, I tend to like my music on the bassier side and I was wondering if they could deliver?

EDIT: I get 20% off sennheiser if they have any headphones which are similar to the m40x's

The M40x lean more neutral than bassy. They are not bad for comfort but they are way better if you add in some brainwavz HM5 protien leather or lamb skin pads. The Takstar pro 80 has more bass and they should be the same as Hyperx Cloud II gaming headset.

I can't find the takstar in the uk, I have read a few reviews on the m40x and they all say that they are neutral. Are there any other over ears that have bass? (They can be wired but preferably a detachable one)
