Gaming Laptop help

Hello,

 

I am new to the website and forums area but I was wondering if anyone on here can recommend a gaming laptop between $1000-1500 with at least a i7 processor, gtx 1050 ti/ gtx 1060, 16 gb of ram and 256 SSD + 1TB hard drive. I sorta know computers and the components but I do apologize if I missed or messed something up. I personally like the portability of a gaming laptop so I can take it anywhere, even to college/library if I have too. Hopefully someone can show me which direction to go. RGB lighting i guess would be a plus! Thanks

You can look around for something like a Lenovo Legion Y720 or the Clevo P950.

 

I would suggest my GL502VM, but that machine has its set of issues (that my particular unit doesn’t seem to suffer from) and lacks the stuff that you were looking for like a 256GB SSD. The VS is $1600 and you do get a GTX 1070, but that beefier GPU makes it warmer still.

 

In your price range, the GTX 1060 is very attainable. I would suggest looking for a laptop that has one like the aforementioned Y720.

There's Acer Predator Helios 300 that fits your bill, i7-7700HQ, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD and GTX 1060 6GB. However, you have to buy your own internal HDD to accomodate the 2.5" SATA slot as HDD is not included (that is if you buy specifically from Amazon, $1049 as of this writing)
