Is there any problem if I unplug the storage device where my windows is installed?

Rickyy

So I was wondering if its possible to unplug my ssd and hdd and plug them into a completely new pc, without losing what is inside, I don't care much about the games and software but about windows in the ssd.

No, I don't have a windows disk to install it again.

Do you still have the CD Key?

If you've got a free USB drive you can make a USB installer for Windows.

Are you updated and do you login with your Microsoft account?

Trying to see if you can just carry Windows over using your Microsoft account or you'll need something like ProduKey to get the key and then re-install.

Ok, so you don't sign in with your Microsoft account?

Download ProduKey and get your key and save it somewhere safe.

You'll probably need to re-activate when you move it to your new computer.

It will pop-up with an activation window, it should reactivate pretty easily but worst case is you call up and do phone activation.

Ok, great. I will. Is there any chance that I will not need to do any of these things tho? Or for sure.
