Discord/Teamspeak not picking up my voice properly

Hey guys,

So i have a problem, whilst i can use skype perfectly fine with my microphone with it picking my voice up normally when i go on discord my voice becomes really quiet and distorted and on teamspeak it does not pick up my voice at all though there is a wind like sound on it. i have gone to recording devices and listened to my microphone and it sounds perfectly fine! I dont know how to resolve this issue :( it means i cant use teamspeak or discord someone please help :(
