Solid & Tempered Glass Front Side Air Flow, How Good?

Shadowman

I really do like the "tempered glass" look but what i don't like with pc cases is when the front is all either solid or has a tempered glass. I know there is ventilation on the sides normally for air to get in but honestly how good is this compared to pc cases that have mesh on the front?

Cases such as the Corsair 460x are pretty good since they have a very open sides for easy airflow, it would be very similar to silent type cases like the Define R5 with the solid front panels. With pressure optimized fans drawing in air it shouldn't be too much of a problem but will not be as good as just an open mesh.

Depends on how much room there is. Cases like the Corsair 460x and Define C have very large side vents to allow nearly unrestricted airflow in. However cases like the S340, P400  and View 31 have much smaller vents, so airflow tends to be more restrictive (as such I hardly recommend them for AIO's)

The mesh front is the Core X31 :)
