Kingston 32GB Pendrive Doesn't Show Up

HelpMeOrIWillSuffer

So my Kingston 32GB USB Pendrive is now supposedly "broken" my sister said it just wont show up on any computer when it's plugged in. But when I plug it into my computer here, it does make a sound that something was plugged in, but nothing shows up saying that a storage device was plugged into the computer. And when I go to my control panel > hardware and sound > view devices and printers and it shows that there is a Data Traveler 2.0 there. And it doesn't show up obviously when I unplug the USB pendrive. So now here I am asking for help, this pendrive wasn't cheap and it was used to store movies when we don't have money to pay for the TV Broadcasting Company.

USB thumb drives will just suddenly die, I have had plenty of school work lost because of it too, :(, Check disk management and the CMD command, I think its diskpart, have forgotten all of my CMD commands since moving to mac OS X.  The drive may be corrupt but I haven't seen that for a while. You could also use the windows troubleshooter....

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

if it doesnt show up in disk management its almost certainly dead. I would boot partedmagic or anything else with gparted and see what linux thinks of it. If Gparted can't see it, it's a goner
