Why is RGB Keyboard a must? You think setting your keyboard to purple makes you edit faster ? :D

But for that money, it depends where you are buying it from, there should be a few machines with a gtx 1060 at least.

7800x3d - RTX 4090 FE - 64GB-6000C30 - 2x2TB 990 Pro - 4K 144HZ

At your current budget, it isn't easy to find laptops with RGB keyboard. The only ones that come to my mind and as @SeraphicWings said, the Alienware 13 R3 at $1300. You can add another 8GB stick (for another $70-ish) on top of what they provided yourself to have 16GB RAM total and you will still be in your budget range. I also agree with @SeanAngelo for the Dell XPS 15 suggestion, cuz they have one of the best screens (great color coverage and accuracy) that should help you with video editing. There's also Lenovo Yoga 720 15" and Asus ZenBook Pro UX550VE that has similar great screens. I can't say for Alienware 13's color accuracy as I haven't test it myself but o well, since RGB is a must for you, then Alienware 13 R3 it is.

Everyone's suggestions are valid.  If you are willing to bump your budget $200 the Aero 14" at $1600 fits your bill perfectly

What kind of editing are you doing?  BTW I have a the Dell XPS 15 9560 and the GTX 1050 can handle most if not all edits.  Actually Western Gents United Youtube tested both cards out and saw no difference between the two when editing.

So for me it comes down to do you really need a RGB keyboard?  What can you get cheaper.  Is this going to be plugged in and on your desktop the whole time: get the Alienware.  If you actually might travel with the laptop, need good battery life, and a very accurate screen get the XPS 15 9560

SFF Time N-ATX V2 - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - AMD Ryzen 9 5800X3D - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 - LG C2 OLED 42"
