Is a 550W PSU enough for this setup?

Why an i5 7400 over an R5 1500X?

Why 12GB of RAM?

Because I already have a B250M mobo+G4560 and I don't want to buy a new motherboard

unless you can find a reliable review of that particular psu that shows it's good, don't risk it. it is very possible for this to happen with bad power supplies:

Please get a better PSU. 65% is horrible, even 80% is borderline. Get something at last 80+ rated, ideally 80+ bronze or better.

You should get a 80+ certified psu

80+ certification means jackshit in psu quality.

I have many friends who use Turbo-x PSUs for 3+ years and they never had a problem with it

just because a few power supplies don't go up in flames doesn't mean that psu is good.

But 65% efficiency is very bad

So that means this PSU can't handle this setup?

unless you want to risk setting your computer and house on fire, do the firemen a favour and just pony up for a better psu.

PSU (Greek Lang, use Google Translate): http://www.plaisio.gr/anavathmisi-diktia/anavathmisi/psu-trofodotika/Turbo-X-550W-Bulk-III.htm

for:

i5 7400

GTX 1060 6GB

12Gb Ram

Yes, but not that 550W.

You should buy a  decent quality PSU like 400W be quiet Pure Power 10 but not that unknown thing...

Turbo-X is a very trustworthy company here in greece

Without a review with electronic loads and an oscilloscope, I don't believe that.
