Alienware Laptop Randomly Died

Hi, my friends Alienware laptop has just completely died out of no where.  He was playing a game and all of a sudden it shut off.  we have tried multiple things to get it to power on now and it wont do anything.  when he plugs in the charger the light on the charger goes off.  he has tried unplugging the battery and holding the power button and attempted powering without the charger but still nothing.  Any thoughts?

Sounds like faulty power circuitry on the motherboard if the charger's light goes out.

he said that two chargers do the same thing.  can the data on the hard drive still be retrived?

HDD has nothing to do with power.

if you liked your data, pull the drive out and copy it over, if you still have warranty, shout at alienware/dell.

theres no warrenty.  he is going to get a new laptop and he put his data on an external hard drive that he has.

someone said the laptop wont power on due to the keyboard not being connected. i wonder if that is going to be the problem.
