Downgrading from Corsair 540 to a mini-itx case due to lack of space

Knudsen

What is your intended use for this build?

Gaming, small scale photoshop but no major rendering, though it might come in the near future (Data Scientist master study)

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

Preferably 144 Hz, but I can live with 1920x1080p at decent FPS too for the high-end games like BF1, Crysis and such.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

~500 € (650 $)
I need to either stick with the 1155 socket, in which case I need a new mini-itx MOBO (Couldn't find brand new ones in the EU besides ebay, which I am not too keen on buying) or I would need to upgrade CPU, Mobo and everything

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

Denmark, but I'll find the cheapest nearest retailer, US/EU links are welcome.

Comments/Thoughts/Requirements.
- I want to use a mini-itx case, no question about that. I've fallen in like with the clean Bitfenix cases, preferably in white. Though any color works. The only thing I don't like is the windows on the side. Since it will likely be sitting on the left side of the desk against a wall/closet.

Also are you just using this for gaming, because adding a 120gb ssd for $80 is overkill. Do you really need 5TBS of storage? A gtx 1070 costs almost the same as that 1060. POWERSUPPY IS WAY too overkill you don't need a $200 power supply for a cpu and one gpu ok? Monitor ok? Also the pc part picker prices are bloated from the mining don't use them

If you cut away those untrue prices you have enough to fit in a GTX 1080

The first parts with the 5 TB SSD, 120 SSD and such is what I currently have in my PC. Those parts I aquiered over the past few years. The Ryzen 1700, RAM, Case and MOBO linked slightly further down is what I am looking to buy in order to change my build from a Medi to a mini tower.

I removed the prices now.

Suggested changes, which would make my build a mini tower instead of the Corsair 540 which is too big:

Any last thoughts?

Would the 1600 do fine for me? The additional 100 dollars doesn't seem worth it unless I do streaming, rendering and such which I won't be doing to be honest.

Worst case I'll be doing some heavy spreadsheets and scripts to gather data.
