Id swap the Define R5 for a Meshify C. Drop the 212 EVO. Swap the SSD to an 850 EVO or MX300. I'd change the monitors to QNIX QX2710.

Don't just use a SSD also use a hard drive you'll need that extra space to put your games in. go for a SSHD

SAMSUNG 850 EVO is better than the Western

Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD you'll need the extra space

I'm using a razer blade rn as my only computer (dont ask me why i did that) so i dont mind the little space for right now

If you want to drop the 1080 to a 1070 it depends if you are a hardcore gamer and you really need that extra 8 gb of vram.

What are the titles that you want to play on the system.

well i play alot of csgo which is why i had the 1080 1ms monitor, the games i play alot of? fallout 4, ark, gta v, eso. and its not just for gaming, ill be using some CAD and 3d rendering software.

like i intend to, but will i? it really depends on time constraints but for the sake of this lets just say yes

if you're going to eventually stream I suggest you change the CPU to a 1600x instead it's worth it and you'll be able to get more power out of that video card

1600x is just factory OC'D 1600 so get a 1700 if you want a newer one, 1600 can reach the same as 1600x

@xDyl I think the binning is a bit better on the X variant.

@ErrMuhGurd If you're going to pay 90$ for your OS, I'd say either go the extra mile and pay 110-120$ for the non-OEM version, or buy a cheaper OEM version from a reputable seller like kinguin. Also, if you're a competitive csgo player, I think these IPS monitors aren't your best bet.

I'd say if they want an upgrade go to 1700 and don't get the 1600x, but that's my opinion.

Also afaik kinguin 10 home is $24

okay I just saw this you're running on 60 hertz on your monitors if you play a lot of csgo I would recommend you buying a 144 Hertz monitor it is worth it I have one here's the model ASUS VG248QE 24'' 144Hz I would just replace one of them if you're on the tight budget don't go for it but I would recommend it

Why drop the 212? Wouldn't it be better than stock?

Barely. If you're buying an aftermarket cooler, get something better than the 212 EVO though. Stock cooler would be fine. Don't get the 1600x. Don't get an SSHD.

Don't pay more than $30 for OS. If you're getting an aftermarket cooler, get a Cryorig H7 or a Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3. Overclock the monitors and you'll be running two nice PLS 1440p monitors in the 86-120Hz range so you get better quality monitor, better colours and viewing angles, better resolution and still get pretty high refresh rate. Last I checked, NVidia GPUs had trouble running monitors at different speeds, at least Maxwell GPUs did.
