Posted September 1, 2017 So I have a very beefy computer (1080, 6600k) with a tb of sshd storage and 120 gb of ssd storage. One day my parent's drive started to fail so I plugged it into my computer and used the extra hardware to get all the pictures and important files off before it was too late. The problem is that I simply replaced my ssd with the problem drive while I unloaded the files off of it. With everything connected again, I boot up windows and (my windows in on the hdd, don't judge me) I kept getting the BSoD for random issues. Then I went to my drive management and saw my ssd capacity was reduced to a mere 20 mb. Now I have tried different cables and sata ports to fix the issue but the ssd is no longer 120gb. Honestly, I don't know what else to do, so any suggestions?
