And this is exactly why you shouldn't be asking this on a forum like this, you get offers like @Jurrunio

Yep. stilll good. Scratch the old build with the 2 980 ti hybrid. I just upgraded the the psu and gpu. My very first build(2012) was actually with a 670 ftw. Honestly I think I upgraded too soon. My rig with the 2 980 ti hybrid still ran everything good. 60+fps 1080p ultra everything. Now I have a 1440p monitor with the new build.

I guess that's why people skip a generation when upgrading graphics cards.

Yeah. He should get around $350-400 since his is a hybrid card, but you can get a used 1070 or 1080 for that price (at least before the mining boom). So I'd stick to $350, as that seems fair. I got my MSI Gaming 980 Ti 6G (predecessor to the Gaming X series) for $300 off craigslist, in perfect condition. For $350 I could've gotten a 1070 and for $400 I could've bought a 1080.

I think that's too high. I can easily get a 980Ti for $275 US. But, again, that's market dependent, and that's why anyone suggesting what pricing should be without living where he lives really isn't helping the OP, as it's irrelevant.

Ah. IDK if they've dropped since, but they were all around $300 in my area before the mining craze. Beastly card though, it can keep up with or beat the 1070.

My 2013 build can still handle todays games. well not with the 670 ftw but with a single 980 ti hybrid. lol
But yea I shouldve just stuck with my two gtx 980 ti hybrid at 1080p 60+ ultra settings for awhile longer.
Bought two 1080 ti when Ive only own the 980 ti hybrids for 1 1/2 years... From now on if my games still runs at 60+ fps on ultra/very high/extreme settings I wont upgrade.

Maybe you're asking too much?

They're not worth anywhere near what they once were. I'm looking to buy one and prices are pretty reasonable.

lol i dont know. I want to sell locally like do the transactions in person because I dont really want to deal with tracking shipping etc. lol

Ah yeah, you'll likely have to take a hit in price if you don't want to deal with that, and want a quick sale.

Remember, it'll only depreciate; the longer you wait, the more you'll lose.

Ah. IDK if they've dropped since, but they were all around $300 in my area before the mining craze. Beastly card though, it can keep up with or beat the 1070.

Yeah, it's on my short list for sure! Think it'd be a bit much for the interim CPU I plan on getting though.

Well one of my coworker says he'll think about buying all the things ive listed but with the one 980 ti hybrid only. I actually have 2. Honestly I think I upgraded too soon. I shouldve skip pascal and kept my two 980 ti hybrid that is paired with my 16gb 3200hz ram, i7 6700k cpu and 1080p 144hz monitor. Every game I have ran 90+ fps 1080p on ultra/very high settings. From now on I wont upgrade until my pc can no longer go 60+ fps, ultra/very high settings.
Now Im using two 1080 ti with a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor which was a lot of money. Couldve save that money to get something I actually need...... lol
Ill probably have to sell online if no in my area wants it.
