I'd like to know if my storage is really necessary, and if i could downgrade by graphics card, what would it be?

Looks like a black/red theme. I'd probably steer clear of MSI B350s, at least for now as they have a pretty poor reputation as of late. This might be a little better:

Other than that, can't really see any glaringly obvious issues. I'd also consider swapping the PSU for an RM550x from corsair.

Storage is fine, you'll love having the SSD as a boot drive (speedy boot times). I don't know why you'd need to downgrade the GPU, but if you wanted to a 1060 6GB would be in order.

GIGABYTE boards have bad overclocking. I would recommend ASUS and AsRock boards, and to fit the theme, this list has the PRIME B350-Plus, which has a red and black theme.

 

Also why the M12II when you can get the TX550M for the same price?
