hi all

so i wont most of the advantages of a desk pc  but by buying only a keyboard and with not mutch more setup time then a new keyboard

realy  wot i wont is access to the front io but have the comp away from my feet/ chair wheels  and not wasting any desk space

apart from a full  desk pc witch would work but exspensive / take lot time  to set up and or make

there are keyboards with usb ports / mic in / audeo out   witch is like 95% there all u need is the power buton and maybe a few more usb ports

an alt to keyboard would be a standalone thing like this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sandberg-external-7-port-usb-3.0-hub-cb-041-sb.html

but with usb ,audeo, card reder, and the one that all devise like this miss a power button

so all the advanteges of a £1000 desk  for like £20 -£50   with so meny  keybord makers out there how has no one triyed this

and im wonting 3 of theys for work not for home/ gameing

i think this could be a great addition to any office wanting more desk space

So are you looking for a keyboard with a power button? Or one with USB ports and Audio? I'm sure you can't get one with a power button.

You could just sleep your PC then use your keyboard to wake it up I suppose.

Sorry if I've misunderstood.

I thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink he wants some kinda breakout box that'll offer Power and reset buttons/LEDs, USB, and headphone/mic jacks from his front IO, and to then have it right on his desk.

From what I've understood from him, he wants an ALL IN ONE PC Keyboard or some sort of that thing. So he can place only the keyboard/mouse and the monitor and play or do whatever he wants with that.

All in all, a keyboard PC is kinda weird because the dimensions of it will be much bigger than the ones of a normal keyboard.

No, they just want your usual front I/O available on the keyboard. Probably 2-4 USB ports, audio ports... however I do not think the power button will work.

Most keyboards that "have a pc inside" are called laptops :D

That's weird to have a I/O on the keyboard. That would add unnecessary weight to the keyboard and much weirder.

Amen to that "keyboard with PC inside" LOL LOL LOL xD

This is what I got from it haha.

I think he want's some sort of way to make it so he can tuck his PC away and not have to couch it, but still be able to power on/off, use the audio jacks and USB ports.

Well for the power cord you can buy your own switch from a hardware store and run wires to the motherboard. You'd just have to disconnect the cases power button wires. You can then attach the switch with superglue or however to the underside of the desk or somewhere out of sight and where you won't bump it easily or accidentally.

This is genius, why have I never thought of this. Literally doing this over the weekend.

They are asking for you to point them in the direction on where they can get one of these. Brand/model?
