Noob question about adobe premiere elements 8

This is a complete noob question i feel ashamed of asking. i'm used to the fully up to date adobe premiere at my school, never used anything else but that. but after a recent emergency regarding a break in at my house i'm forced to use an old copy of adobe premiere elements 8 (yes, it's extremely out of date) i have everything figured out except one thing, how do i render and save as an mp4 file? 

 

File > export, is greyed out and save as > _, only lists .prel

See the green button in the top right your screenshot called labeled Share (Should be fully "Export and Share).  That's what you click to export footage.  At least, that's how it's suppose to work.
