First Gaming PC

Hi there,

 

I've been thinking of building a gaming PC and I need some help. Do you think I should go with some other options?

 

Budget & Location

My budget is approximately 1700 Euros and I'm located in Serbia (Novi Sad).

 

AIM

Gaming

 

Monitors

I plan to use only one monitor.

 

Peripherals

Yes, I will be buying keyboard and a mouse. Windows is not needed.

 

Why are you upgrading?

I would like to game in spare time and my MBP is obviously not meant for doing that. I'm more than satisfied with my Mac for my professional work.

As far as mouse and keyboard go, I won't include that here.  This is 1585 Eur - give or take. I'm converting from Serbian Dinar to EUR, so it can vary a little bit.

400 euro for a 160 6gb is a little bit much but i think it is a good choose. And i think you would be better of with the 1600.

I would highly recommend bumping the gpu not to a r5 1600 if you can afford it. The 1600 has a pretty good advantage over the 1500x in gaming not to mention having the ability to multitask as well.

Ryzen 5 1600 is around 268 Eur (LINK) - I could add it for sure - what about other parts. Parts are pretty expensive here.

Also, my resolution would be 1080p  Those 1440p monitors are darn expensive.

Maybe a cheap hdd for extra storage? I think you got a good build so far. Did check out mine?

I already have an external 1TB HDD. Yeah I did check it out, it's dope. And those prices are even better.

Okay, I live in Belgium so prices are a little bit worse but a lot better then yours. If you dont have enough storage for your games (for loading games the external HDD will probably be too slow) you can upgrade it yourself later.

Indeed. I was thinking of installing CS:GO and Battlefield 1 only ATM. Maybe even something like SIMS for my wife.

That will be fine I think. It is very easy to do so you can always do it later.

I've ordered all of the parts listed above with only one change and that's Ryzen 5 1600 instead of 1500X.

Thanks Can't wait to build it. Then later on I suppose I'll get one Seagate Baracuda HDD as well.
