E10 Alternative

My laptop audio is terrible so I'm looking for preferably a DAC/Amp that is powered by USB but power from a wall wart is ok also it has to be no more than $70 MSRP, I would like on sale if possible. I don't need S/PDIF, Coaxial, or RCA etc. just a 3.5mm or 6.3mm headphone out and 3.5mm in is fine but USB is what I want.

I've read a bunch of reviews that said it was kinda meh.

Most likely written by people who don't understand and think if it isn't expensive it must be crap. 

 

Honestly, we cop a lot of crap in this forum for our mostly anti soundcard stance, but that is a result of using our ears to determine what sounds good and not our ego's. Unless you get a broken one they are great.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

This. E10 is still great for the price. Just because you don't the additional input/outputs on the device doesn't mean they will come handy in the near future. Like say... THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO

And use the money to buy us tacos and smoothies. White people love smoothies.
