I'm having a lot of trouble accessing my router's settings page. My router is being used as an access point. It is plugged into my modem, which is a router/modem combo, but I have disabled the wireless feature on the modem/router. When I go to http://myrouter.local I get redirected to the settings page of the 2 in 1 modem. When I disconnect the router from the 2 in 1 and try http://myrouter.local it just loads for eternity. All help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, it does.

One of those IP's was given to the wireless router, if it doesn't list hostnames you'll have to try each one unfortunately, but one of them will load the wireless router's page.

On my router that is setup as an access point I have to plug directly into it and log in with the ip address of the access point and have it disconnected from the other router.  if its an access point you are probably letting your modem handle the dhcp so there is nothing there for it to point to when you try and access it.  you may even have to hard reset the router back to default settings to access it.  it all depends on how the access point was setup.

None of the names have Linksys in them, and the ones without names "refuse to connect"

Try all of them, regardless of if they have a name or not.

Don't forget to quote people so they know you responded :)

From what I read you have the router/ap setup to receive a dhcp ip address from the modem? You'll have to set a static address on the router if you want to access it remotely. From personal experience they don't work correctly otherwise.

How would I go about setting up a static IP on the router?
