Can't you just get a second hand GTX 750ti?

SLI has allot of issues and I wouldn't recommend doing it with older cards. You'd get a better experience and potentially more fps with a faster single card.

It is not thus why I didn't even bother and asked why not the 750ti :P

 

400 series sucks, is hot and performs poorly, it also will suck hella lot power from the wall, the 750ti will consume less than half of that power and outperform them at every thing while being completely balanced with the CPU.

I would check SLI GTX 460 benchmarks and compare it to a 750Ti and see. Personally I wouldn't recommend SLI unless you want bleeding edge performance. Maybe a second 750Ti would be a better option. you can probably find a used one for pretty cheap too.
