Hey guys, after my CS650 PSU died, well i still got a hold of the modular cables it had, and i noticed that they're similar to the new EVGA 750BQ psu i bought, i was wondering if i can use the Cables of the Corsair PSU on the EVGA one, since the EVGa one only has 6+6(2) PCI-E Cables, and the corsair one has both of them on 6+2, i test alot of videocards and well i plan to get diferent cards, and having well a modular psu is to use less cables... anyaways, i think theere wouldnt be an issue at all since well, they're cables, but i just want to be sure

so long as the correct voltage goes to their respective pins , then I don't see why not.

yea.. i just checked the pins on each set of cables, and they're different, i guess if i re arrange them like they're on the evga psu might work?

THEY ARE PINNED OUT DIFFERENTLY!!!!

DO NOT USE THE CORSAIR CABLES ON THE EVGA!!!!!  YOU WILL BLOW YOUR STUFF UP.

On a somewhat related note... how did you end up with just the CS-M cables and not the PSU.  The PSU should still be under warranty.  Are you having it exchanged?

this is probably a tad to late, but the PSU died like 3 months ago, and i bought an EVGA 750B and the Corsair one was bought like 4 years ago.. and as i stated i did say the pinouts where diferent, i just ordered some cablemod cables
