It’s simple really, I’m looking for a safe and reliable password management app that I can save all of my passwords, account numbers, and other misc private information on my phone that requires 2 step verification to access (password and fingerprint for example). The only other specifics I have are as follows.

  • Available on iOS
  • 2 Step Login
  • Free - $2
  • iPad and iPhone friendly (I will need this app on both)

Thank you for any suggestions. Please leave a reason as to why you chose this app. I’m not going to choose an app just because you suggest it. I want to know the ups and downs of everything to make my choice. Thank you again.

Kaspersky Password Manager (uses its own web browser)

Lastpass

Notepad - I'm Kidding Edition

None of these have the 2FA, but I'm assuming you could use your phone's lock as the first and the manager's password as the 2nd.

For $2 a month LastPass will upgrade you to have everything listed here: https://helpdesk.lastpass.com/lastpass-now-free-on-all-devices/#h1

LastPass is pretty user friendly and comes with password generation.

Do note that some sites will be annoyingly designed to block apps like LastPass from saving the password correctly or will be designed in a way that it detects a piece of information like a First Name as your Password . Watchout for those.

I have no real cons to list for LastPass aside from it costing $2/month for some specific security features you're asking for. Otherwise, it's free. Personally, I love it and I know it's one of the most common password managers. Here's a guide to get started: https://www.howtogeek.com/77319/the-how-to-geek-guide-to-getting-started-with-lastpass/

A society's accepted views of the world surrounding said society is both the making and undoing of society itself.

I use notepad.

I use books downloaded from the gutenburg project. I have a number of algorithms i store in my head where I can extract infinitely long passwords from these text files.

As long as I have access to the gutenburg project or the files i have downloaded i can reproduce my super long passwords.

I wont touch a password manager.
