Cooler Master Elite 130 Temperatures

Guest

I have an i3-6100 and a GTX 980Ti. I use the stock Intel cooler and my graphics card is a reference model. I want to convert to mITX and am wondering what kind of temperatures I may expect with the Elite 130. How good is the cooling? Is there proper airflow?

There is very good cooling. I have the Elite 130 myself

I modified the desk I had to allow the GPU to have enough airflow from the sideIMG_3630.thumb.JPG.0d50c14045b7043ff884cf2217cf7d97.JPG

The case has decent airflow despite being so compact but it is designed for Water cooling

My system has a i5-4690K and an R9 380 and i5 hits about 35C at idle and the GPU is at around 60C when idle. The GPU never exceeds 75 degrees and the CPU never comes close to that. You will need that small fan that comes with the case however otherwise there will be runaway heat loop that the case can't cool down on its own if you use water-cooling.
