It's a choice really between G-Sync or non-G-Sync, since FreeSync monitors can be considered as normal monitors when used with an NVIDIA GPU. So, just depends on if the cost for G-Sync is worth it or not.

You can't use FreeSync on a GTX 1080, you need to get G-Sync for Nvidia. If going FreeSync, you need to buy a Vega card.

 

As for the G-Sync / FreeSync themselves, they're very similar and almost indistinguishable by a naked eye, FreeSync is cheaper though.

obviously G-Sync since you're getting an Nvidia card........

if you intend on getting 1080ti then your best b et is G-sync. Unless you DONT need that functionality, you could probably save a few bucks for a freesync but why go through that hassle after investing a nice amount of $$$ in ur graphics is my question...

I'm gonna go with g sync. Just wait for the prices on the monitors to go down.
