1. Ask @Damascus.

2. Blue light won't be soothing at night. Unless its a very light blue, it'll burn your eyes out. Blue light messes with your sleep hormones and stuff, and at least for me, is bloody murder for my optical receptors. Stink, since it does look nice.

Yeah. There's a good server on GameRanger if you wanna get wasted by some dude who's always Luke and just murders you and your whole team over and over...

And the thread in my sig has a list of mods to install, and the one I was talking about (better guns and skins) is Delta's GCW 1035 mod. You have to install the unofficial patch v1.3 and the Conversion Pack first.

I looked at some custom server game matches the only problem is it only adds like 4 or 5 actual players

Huh. I seem to always get pawned by actual people on GameRanger. I think it's the Great American Server.

If you use the headers on you mobo and get the right strips, you can sync up your desk to your computer. If you cut the strips, you'll have to have wire to extend them with. I'd wait for Damascus to reply, he probs knows what strips you need. Hopefully. But his title is King of RGBistan, so....

I recently cleaned my phone, so I'll upload some pictures later, but I purchased an IR RGP strip and I use that. Not connected to my PC, and much easier to use because of it. I can move my tower for modifications and not worry about my LED strip. It came with adhesive on one side, but it sucked, so I modified by cutting double sided 3M foam adhesive to help secure everything. I got something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01FF1Y07C/ref=sxts_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502119846&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65

That may be Overkill for just a monitor, but I did my monitor and desk with it. I didn't nt have USB on my monitors, and wanted something easy to hide. There are smaller kits available.

@dweed2

I am using that exact kit linked above, but the version that plugs into a USB port and not the wall socket, for the backlight on the rear of my computer desk (I have a long desk with two computers side-by-side).

https://www.amazon.com/Topled-Light-Kit-Computer-Multicolor-Controller/dp/B01FK32AXQ/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1502134309&sr=8-18&keywords=LED+TV+Backlight+Kit

There are different brands on Amazon, but they are ALL from the same damn Chinese manufacturer.

With the USB powered ones, you can plug them into a USB port on the back of your computer, and they will power on/off together with your PC.

You could kit them, but won't be able to re-used the severed part, unless you know how to do some soldering.

That said, they have pieces for you to daisy-chain LED strips, etc.
