I just got this PSU in and I see that one of the slots on the 20 pin connector has no metal thing on the inside.

You're fine. That pin isn't used by the motherboard.

Its normal, the pin isnt used. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Everything is normal, the wires are keyed so that you could only fit the wire into the motherboard one way.

One of the pins in the sata cable is missing like the one above. I'm assuming this is normal?
