whats a good idle temp for my g4560?

so I just installed a fan controller and it usually sat at around 35 degrees Celsius and now its fluctuating between 35-45 (usually sticking to 30 to low 40's) I'm just curious and whats a safe temp in general when lets say gaming?

under 90 in gaming but realistically you wont be reaching 90 with a locked cpu

tJunction is rated for 100C so I would say if you're gaming and it's under like 80C to 90C then that's more than acceptable, especially if you have a stock cooler.

for g4560 I think 65-70 degree should be the max, over 70 I don't prefer to call it good temp :)

80-90C isn't great, I agree, but still within Intel's spec.

@OP, I wouldn't worry that much, these temps won't kill your CPU, and even when it gets too hot it'll thermal throttle to save itself. At which point it'll be quite obvious to you that you'll need better cooling (or a better CPU).
