Which one i go for GTX 760 SLI or GTX TITAN

ARVIND2050
Go to solution Solved by GBBnero,

nero i can see at 1080p 780ti destroys titan in bf3 but how it performs in crysis3 and bf4

Always look for single 780ti vs single titan in these benchmarks. You can also check the source links for more Information in Text about the 780ti (If you read one, read amnandatech :) )

GUYS MY FRIENDS R RECOMMENDING TO Go WITH SINGLE 780ti and save cash for better case like NZXT820 CASE AND XONAR STX

NOW WHAT TO DO

In my oppinion I would do what your friend tells you to do and get a good case with airflow.

I don't really see a point in dual GTX 780ti. The performance boost you get is unnecessary imo.

780ti most definatly.  Or go for the Asus ROG GTX 760 mars edition. (its 2 760s in one) but the GTX 780ti will be faster no doubt.

Most importantly, getting a 780ti will give you the ability to add another card later. Having 2 gtx 760s and get a third one is not the best option. It won't scale as well

second option apart from 760sli should i go for 770sli

770 only has 2gb of vram which is not really "futureproof". And if you game at 1440p it's not enough even right now. Forget the 4gb version by the way. Apparently the architecture of the gpu is not designed to handle well more than 2gb of vram

good aftermarket 780, then later you can add another one, so you can OC both and keep em cool

they go for around 500 bucks, i think pretty good deal!

or you can go 780 sli in the beggining, since titan is 1000 bucks and 1 780 is only 500 ! the main reason i recommend 780 over 780 ti is price and the second reason is cooling

780 ti is 700, good deal, but if you do 780 sli instead of 780 ti sli, you will spare 400 bucks, that you can use on other parts of the system ( for example one more ssd that keep all games on 256 gigs and you are left with like 230 $ )

*face palm*

why would you get the titan?? Get a 780. 780 ti is still too overpriced.

A 780ti is more powerful or on the same level as a Titan. Just thought I'd mention that because you were talking about getting a single Titan or Dual 760 and now you are saying you want to SLI two 780ti :)

Well... rather not. Dont get me wrong 780 ti is still very good deal, but i would pay 100$ more for single card than crossfire. Save yourself the truble, microstutters, heat. Ofcourse mantle is -supposed- to help alot with optimisations in games, but for people that dont use mantle...

You could also wait for aftermarket 780 ti coolers.

Have you heard about G-Sync?

GSYNC heard it

it eliminates screen tearing and reduces vsync input lag

so in short nvidia is 100% better than ati

The Titan is not really a gaming card any more... I would go for the SLI 760's
