Yes.

PSU tier list in sig. it's tier 4 IIRC. so good enough, but not excellent.

Yes, but some brands also make shitty PSUs.

EVGA make tier 7 and tier 6 PSUs.

 

the end message of this video is what matters. 

"never trust a brand, always review the model"

 

note that this video is talking about the first gen of CX, which wasn't good. 3rd gen is fine, and gray label is very good.

And it's rather meh, but that's normal for a PSU this old...

 

I'd rahter save some money for a new, good quality unit.
