1080 ti backplate.

My Zotac 1080 ti arrived and I can't decide on what color to vinyl wrap the backplate, I've narrowed it down to white or chrome. Any input?

I would go white, can match the rest of your rig and then work with pretty much any colour an RGB strip can throw at it.

I feel as though there is too much white and given the switches on the front of my case subtle hints of chrome would work. And yeah it's from Radikult, loving it.

I've still yet to decide. Though my the CPU block is gonna be an EK nickel one perhaps white would work better.

With the grey stripe running down the plate and the small bits of green as my secondary color maybe a white backplate with those green stripes could work.

You can always buy more then one skin and see which looks best before applying it.....dought they cost too much

Yeah, this is probs the best idea. They always look different in person than in stock photos.

Stock photos can't be relied on too much......look at the pictures in a menu at a restaurant and then look at how it turns up, I can almost guarantee  there not the same

Yup. Stock photos are always with perfect lighting, and they choose the absolute best product, be that a vinyl skin or plate of noodles, for the stock photo. And they take ages to arrange it perfectly and such.

And of course there is photoshop(and just to be unbiased) and other alternative options

Loving the deviation in the topic. The green stripe idea might prove to be challenging given I'm just used to spray paint.

Hmmm. You could get green vinyl and cut it into strips, but you'd have to use it on top of something smooth so it'd adhere properly.

Lots of masking tape or newspaper and a good quality paint.

Yeah, that's the tricky part given I've hardly used vinyl wrap.

As long as you leave it stuck to the backing, it should be fine. You could always try Plasti-Dip.

Plasti-Dip is what I've been using for all the white.

like the idea, not to sold on that specific green, bit to lumo for me, but hey could look epic.
