Hello

I was messing around with ram timings today, trying to tighten them, when they became too tight, my PC would start to bootloop a few times, and then go to default settings, and boot to windows. (Set to detect bootlop 3 times in BIOS, then resetting to default settings)

So this happend a few times, and it was no problem, but now it dosent post at all, theres no bios screen or anything. Its on for about 20 seconds, then it turns off for something like 2 seconds, then starts again, but still no post screen. Fans and pump is running, but thats it. No USB peripherals or anything else is on. Should be noted that up until now, there has been no problems with the system, since I put it together 1,5 weeks ago.

I tried removing the CMOS battery for 15-20 mins.

Tried using only 1 of the sticks, in each ram slot, but nothing.

Got a youtube video I quickly filmed:

Shitty quality i know. It'll just keep doing this, forever.

CPU: Ryzen 1700

Ram: G.Skill Flare X 2x8GB @ 3200MHz, but ran at 2933, since 3200 was not stable.

Any ideas?

sometimes you need to charge the board buy rubbing your socsk on shag carpet or something that will create an electric change, find a cap on your board (small round barrel looking object) then touch it , do that a few times. then press the power button. it will juice it up and good going

Yeah. I'm not gonna do that, but nice try. :-)

Don't listen to the troll, it sounds like you've got a dead board. It happens sometimes. Hopefully, the RAM and CPU were effected.

it shouldnt be a dead board

yeah idk how a power cycling would brick a board although I did hear that it has happened to others on an am4 motherboard review so idk. maybe the same thing happened and they also just assumed the board was broken?

do you unplug the battery cable or take the battery out?

I unplugged the battery cable. It's glued to the back of the rear Audio rear IO, you should be able to see the battery in the video

Edit: Just checked again, and its on there with something that looks like double sided thick adhesive tape
