RM850i double wires

I am getting custom cables for my RM850i (8pin eps, 8pin pcie and 24pin atx)

And I got an email asking how many double wires(2 wires going into 1 pin) there are on those cables. I can't answer that at the moment as I'm at work.

 

Can anybody help me out?

Three it should be

+3,3V Sense

+12V Sense

+5V Sense

The 24-Pin has 4x 2:1 wires. All PCIe cables have 1x 2:1 wire. 

 

I would highly recommend you look at your own cable set and jot down exactly which wires are 2:1 for your record keeping. If you are truly stumped, I'm sure we could help you out.

The fact that you're having custom cables made and the person making the cables doesn't already know this scares the crap out of me.  If they don't even know what wires are doubled up, how the heck are they going to get the pinout correct?  Modular cables are not one-to-one.

I'm getting pre crimped cables, I'll be putting on the sleeves and connectors

I was asking because the guy I'm getting cables from goes on vacation today and he had to know to get my order shipped before that. Does the 8pin EPS cable have any 2:1 wires?

No, only ATX connector has, for reason I stated. And well, the PCie ( 2 grounds on one pin and 2 connectors on one cable)...

If that's the case, then Stefan is correct.  You have three two-to-one wires on the 24-pin.  A +3.3V sense, a +5V sense and a +12V sense.
