IPS or TN

Hey guys so I've decided to build something very similar to this rig https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3Xsb9W and was wondering should I get the Asus pg279Q or should I opt for something else.

any good suggestions would be appreciated

Its a good panel but many people tend to return/RMA for the perfect panel lottery, cause ips high refresh rate are prone to have minimal or extravagant backlight bleed

ASUS are a really good brand when it comes to high-end monitors. As someone who recently bought this IPS panel - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-acer-monitor-ips-panel-2560x1440-4ms-speakers-usb-31-type-c-hub-zeroframe-displayport-dvi-hdmi-si - I cannot recommend it enough if you love visuals. It does take a bit of getting used to, as the black colours are far darker than that of a TN panel. I spent the first couple of hours re-adjusting the monitor's brightness. However, now it's done. I do not regret the purchase.

I convinced my boss to let me switch out my dual 19 inch TN panels for dual 22inch IPS panels at work and they are amazing.

I just bought an IPS monitor previously having a TN I have to say IPS is better.

So it's worth the hefty price tag?
