I have 3 500GB disks in software RAID0 under Windows 7 Pro SP1.

Two are the same Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM drives, but one is a Maxtor 10K RPM drive I didn't want to 86 because it's 10K RPM.

One of the coils on the control board fell off, so I just soldered over it with a small capacitor. It's been working fine for several months, and I created a scheduled task for a system image backup onto my NAS when my PC has been idle for 2 hours or more.

I want to replace the drive with another Seagate drive that's the same as the other two in the array. Will cloning the Maxtor allow me to replace the drive easily? I chose software RAID over hardware because I know it's less prone to issues from disk cloning.
